Mr Mohammed Sadeck Boulahya has more than 35 years of experience managing public regional institutions and building national capacity for weather and climate services in energy, food security, agriculture, disaster risk, and other sectors, particularly in Africa. Mr. Boulahya was instrumental in drafting the concept note and facilitating the negotiation between AUC, UNECA and AfDB for the implementation of the ClimDevAfrica Programme. Mr. Boulahya co-founded and served as the first Director General of the African Centre of Meteorological Applications for Development (ACMAD) for 12 years. Prior to that he was General Director of the National Bureau for Meteorology of Algeria, also for 12 years.
