Fully-funded PhD opportunity at the University of Leeds
The University of Leeds is seeking candidates for a fully funded 4-year National Environmental Research Council CASE PhD studentship on “Developing actionable seasonal climate information for the wind and solar energy industry“. The project is joint between the School of Earth and Environment at the University of Leeds and WEMC. The student will be based in Leeds but will undertake a placement and will work closely with colleagues here at WEMC.
The application deadline is 9th January 2017. Applicants must meet the NERC criteria for funding which includes UK citizens and non-UK citizens who have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least 3 years (not counting time spent studying).
