    OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

    Due to a member of the team going on sabbatical, we have a temporary opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our climate change consultancy team in London.

    Our work in the climate change area is diverse and ranges from providing advice on climate change policy and strategy to supporting the implementation of corporate, site and project level responses to climate change at a management and technical level.

    The successful candidate will work within our multidisciplinary team providing project management and project delivery support to ERM clients on a range of issues related to energy and climate change, including, but not limited to:

    quantification of GHG inventories and emissions avoidance;
    reporting climate performance in annual sustainability reports and CDP disclosures;
    delivering compliance with energy and climate change related regulations;
    climate change risk assessments; and
    relevant sections of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) reports.
    In all cases, our role as consultant is to help our clients to achieve their sustainable development objectives, and to effectively manage the related business risks and opportunities.

    The team interacts continually with ERM’s other practice areas such as: sustainability strategy; environmental and social impact assessment; transactional due diligence; EHS performance management and assurance; and risk management, to deliver value-added services to ERM’s international client base.
