Aurela Sakaj graduated from the University of Cologne in Germany in 2021 with an MS in Physics of the Earth and Atmosphere, specializing in Meteorology, in particular air quality. Her Masters thesis project analyzed various greenhouse gas concentrations in the troposphere above several German cities using electrochemical sensors.
Aurela joined the WEMC in early 2024 as a Data Engineer. She is currently working on the FOCI project, assisting in the analysis of non-CO2 forcers in the atmosphere.
