Massimo Tavoni is the director of EIEE and full professor of climate economic modeling at Politecnico di Milano. His research is about climate change transition policies and risks. HE studies the climate transition using coupled climate-economy-energy models and through empirical work. He has been an author of the IPCC (5th and 6th assessment report) and coordinated several research projects, including two grants from the European Research Council (ERC).
